Chapel Lodge Standardbred R&R

Chapel Lodge Standardbred Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc.

So how can you help you ask?

There are five main ways you can help:

Financially

The area we struggle in the most, is with the continuous upkeep of bills; relating to the weekly feeding of our four legged friends, their feet, dental, chiropractic bills and of course the unwanted vet bills. Hay alone can cost in excess of $800 per week. We do not make money on the horses we sell. If you could donate even $2 a week – every small amount can help and every amount over $2 is tax deductable.

Hit the Donate button to help support us.

(either via Pay Pal or My Giving Circle or you can transfer directly to our bank -

details below)

Or

Donations

You can donate goods or your services to Chapel Lodge. Many goods donated can go towards our auctions and/or raffles. We could also place your donated goods to our need specifically, ie the donation of vet materials, rugs or training equipment. Or if you donate your services (as an example rug repair, chiro, farrier, etc) you can donate it at a discounted rate. Every donation, no matter the size is appreciated.

Or

You could Sponsor A Horse

Choose a horse from our list below (also found under Horses for Sale) and donate a monetary value either a once off payment or a weekly amount specifically to this horse and we can send you updates on their progress with us until the day they are sold to their new forever home.

Or

Become a Foster Carer

When horses retire from the track – some horses need time to spell before being broken to saddle and some are purely just too young start their ridden career. These horses are suitable candidates as foster horses. By taking on a foster horse until the time they are ready to begin their education, you can help Chapel Lodge save much needed paddock space and money.

Or

You could volunteer

Chapel Lodge currently has a number of volunteers that we are very grateful to have. Our volunteers, depending on their experience range in their volunteer duties, from cleaning out stables, helping feed, handling and saddling horses to of course riding, educating and selling the horses on. And of course there is all of the behind the scenes hard work that goes on promoting and keeping our charity running.
